Interesting People To Know In Singapore

Just like any other normal day after the end of work day, I squeezed myself into the forever crowded train heading for the east at Tanjong Pagar. With my earphones plugged in my ears and my iPhone 4S in hand, I was reading a book on Kobo trying to distract myself from the constant pushing about on board the train.

Reached my destination, hopped onto the bus from the interchange and headed home. Once through the door, I ran to the dining table and feast on the dinner that the Grandma cooked for the evening.

I thank the Grandma for the dinner she cooked before retreating to the comfort of my own room. Switched on my MBP and all set to catch up on Korean Variety Shows/Drama. This evening, I watched Running Man Episode 93. Laughed so hard while watching Running Man that my tummy aches so badly right now.

Yes, that is a typical day after work for me. 

I checked my Facebook(FB) notification and saw that my FB/Twitter friend - Belinda tagged me on a link. I went to click on the link and the title of the article was “Interesting People to Know in Singapore”.

Now, the first thought that came into my mind was, “Nice, let’s see who is interesting on the list! Any friends that I know of?” I spotted Belinda, Fooie and Jermyn! Hell yeah! They are interesting people! I’ve met them several times during gatherings!

Now…wait…is that a photo of…me?! *jaw dropped* 

YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME?! I am on the list of “Interesting People to Know in Singapore”?! SERIOUSLY?! I am really dumbfounded. 

Every other people on the list has something to do with social-something and I am just…me. So how is it that a boring person like me ended up on that list? I would really love to know the answer from the person who wrote that article. Or did the writer mistaken me as another Priscilla? No wait…the writer got the nickname that I use on social media sites correctly. SERIOUSLY?!

I sincerely thank you, whoever you are, for thinking that I am interesting and placed me on that list. I appreciate it a lot! The ‘unbelievable’ reaction that I have right now is simply because it’s just so weird to see a nobody (ME!) being on the list.

Nevertheless, I will try my best to be interesting at gatherings and please note that I am quite shy at large gatherings. So, IF you are interested in knowing me, it will be great if you could just, come up and say hi. I suck at going up to people and introducing myself, well, unless I had a few rounds of beer…then it might be a different story!
