Royal Brunei Airlines will be launching four new travel packages at the upcoming Travel Carnival fair to be held from 4 to 5 August 2012 at the Singapore Expo Convention and Exhibition Centre. One usually will not think of Brunei when planning for a holiday but Brunei, with its luxuriant and pristine rain-forests and richness in flora and fauna, is a paradise for nature lovers as well as for ecotourism.

From natural beauty, spectacular scenery and diversity of Brunei to outdoor adventure sports and unique shopping experiences, the four packages which I will be introducing in this post, cater to families as well as couples.

As a boutique airline, Royal Brunei Airlines currently operates two daily flights between Singapore and Brunei.

Note: All four packages are inclusive of government taxes, service charges and breakfast for two and have round trip transfer from airport to hotel based on coach transfers and are inclusive of all airport taxes and fuel surcharges.

ULU ULU FUN (4D3N Package)

FAMILY FUN (3D2N Package)

Main highlights of this package include:

• The first passenger can opt for an all-inclusive fare of SGD$740 and the second passenger enjoys the benefit of half price at SGD$365, plus a facility of 5KG excess baggage per passenger
• The package includes return economy class ticket on Royal Brunei Airlines, two nights hotel stay in superior room at The Empire Hotel & Country Club

• Kids Stay Free - Two kids (12yo and under) can stay for free when sharing accommodation with parents on existing bedding
• Kids Play Free - Children (4yo to 12yo) have free three hours daily access to the E-Kid’s Club

NATURE TO WONDER (3D2N Package)

Visitors can deposit the cut-off coupon filled with their details (which will be advertised through various newspapers) at the Brunei Airlines/Brunei Tourism Booth J02 - K02 during the fair and simply receive a free goodie bag.

Now, if only I could go on a short getaway, I will definitely consider heading to Brunei for some ‘me’ time. I believe it will be a wonderful experience for the nature and some self-reflecting and soul searching.
